Holy Family Icon (polished gold halos)

This beautiful hand-painted Orthodox icon depicts the Holy Family: the Christ Child surrounded by the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph. The three figures are brought together in an intimate composition that expresses the love, protection, and unity of the family gathered around Christ. The icon is traditionally hand-painted using egg tempera on a thick natural plywood panel. 24K genuine gold leaf is combined with detailed gilding, polished gold, and decorated halos. It is finished with protective varnish and ships in a protective box.

Iconography and Symbolism
